Fifty Years We Celebrate

Like a flower blooms in perfect weather. So did Bob and Linda's love, together. Affectionate words were said and felt, When Bob took Linda's hand, and knelt. Looking up at his beloved bride. He felt a love, he couldn't hide. A bond was formed between the two. When both shared, their "I love You's." Through all they faced, and persevered. We celebrate, their fifty Years! Michael, Judy and all your friends. Send all our love, to you again. May your marriage, always be blessed, These special words, to God we ask. Good health in all the coming years. Please know your friends, are always here. God Bless You Both Bob and Linda

Hi John. Their children wanted to have us get on the computer through some app and video ourselves to send them. When my wife Judy and I tried to figure how to do this we were struggling, lol. So I thought the next best thing to do John was to write them a Poem, which I did. They really enjoyed reading it and I told them that all my Poetry friends and writer would comment, so I directed them to the Poetry Soup Site to read the comments. They will read yours too, John. Thank you for gracious words for Bob and Linda and the Poetry. God bless you John and I am going to rent that Movie you recommended of the Third Reich. Looks like an excellent movie won alot of awards too. Thank you again John...

Thank you Sir. It was a nice gathereing. Bob is facing cancer but his doctor told him he thinks it is all gone. You would have never known it in seeing Bob mingle with his guest at his Fifty Year Celebration. We are praying for him Gordon. It is nice to have good friends, they are hard to find. We had a great time and caught up on everything. Bob is a Navy Veteran and He is one of the most Caring and thoughtful friends I have ever known, his wife Linda Gershon is the same way. Thank you Gershon for your kind words my friend. The Fifty year celebration was yesterday. My wife Judith and I were among a hundred people or so, that participated in this wonderful gathering to support these two lovely souls. When I saw Bob I noticed he had a Goatee. I told him it looked great. He then went on to explain that his wife frowns on it and his daughter too. lol. Then he tells me that everyone loves it except them lol. He explained about his fight with cancer and he grew it for that reason. He went on to say if the next time I see him it is shaven off, it means he is cancer free. The Dr told him he did not see any when he had his last check up. So this next one will determin whether or not he stays on the cancer medications and continues taking.

Thank you Sir. They are what you would call Milton, " True Friends." I will wish them a Happy Anniversary from all of you at Poetry Soup and mention all of you individually to read your enlightening Poetry. My wife an RN worked with Bob in the Hospital. Bob was an Operating Room Technician who assisted Doctors in Surgeries. He met his wife Linda in that hospital. Linda worked with my wife at the hospital. My wife Judy has known Bob and Linda for 43 years Milton. They are wonderful friends. Their Children Michelle and Shawn have organized a get together at a Reception Center this afternoon to celebrate these Special Fifty Years In Marriage. All of their "True Friends" will be there.

It surely is Lasaad. They both get along so well and to know them is to love them. We are blessed to have them as friends. My wife Judy has known Bob and Linda for Fourty three years. It is such a great accomplishment, we are all so happy to be there to celebrate their long standing marriage. I am guessing many people will be there. Their Daughter Michelle and son Shawn have put together a video from all their friends as a surprise to them. My siefe and I couldn't figure how to record ourselves and sent so I wrote them this poem to remember us by and enjoy. Thanks Vie for your kind and appreciated thoughts...
