Fifty Shades of Hell

Forgive them Father for their souls unclean Hardened hearts that demonically demean Camouflaged cathedrals a silent smokescreen The towers of Babylon crumble as foreseen Inauspicious idols obelisks of the obscene Magniloquent mirages of man's made machine Feeding feculent fires with gorging gasoline Pampered populous with a Vatican vaccine Malodorous men with a nervous nicotine Religion waging wars like a lost libertine Marauding morality in the menus cuisine In man's madness a grotesque guillotine. They say "you go without if you don't go within" I think in this troubled world where bad things happen so often that we find it too hard to keep up anymore, it is then time to take a breather and declutter the clutter, and meditate. Its the only way I cope now. I love your poem WW, so many meaningful lines...Maria

Fantastic monorhyming, WW. Hell truly is on earth and this shows us very poetically the truth of it.

"Religion waging wars like a lost libertine" This line stuck out the most for me. Masterfully written with your magnificent alliteration, Wingman:)

Humanity seems to have gone mad on many levels. Father is forgiving, but only through repentance for one's sins. Monorhyme with lucid alliteration. ;-)
