Feline Ardor
In late autumn
our neighbour's black cat
sits on the heated hood of the car
A sacred Egyptian ornament
sleek lines of balance
Unlike our love games
on clammy leather
in bucket seats
car host passion
spinetingling touch
Seasonal alarm clock
set to spring
like a cat off a cold hood
