Feelings [resubmit]
Feelings are a funny thing
Hard to understand
Far more complicated
Than a orchestrated band
I have seen the bravest men
Cower up and hide
Afraid to let their feelings show
So they keep them bottled up inside
I have given it some thought
And do believe it so
Feelings are the doorway
To and from a person’s soul
Of all the things I've done to myself
That were so unfair
No doubt the worst was to bottle up
Feelings I should share
Feelings are the highest high
Or the lowest low
But you must learn to let them out
So you'll have room to grow
I have learned to laugh as well as cry
I have learned to use my pen
To share with you a lifetime of feelings
I had once kept bottled in
You can think of me what you like
Think of me what you will
Regardless of what you think of me
