Feeling What You Feel...Yet Not...

Stuck in this shell, shut in. With only an aperture to see the outside world. A slice of light enters. Feeding all the wonders of the world. Yet not being able to join in. keeping this in mind. But not getting involved, defense mechanism. Anger repeated. Like the flame long gone from flesh but warmth resides with in it. Taking deep panic breaths, claustrophobic yet still confined. The individual choice, not being able to change it, no one gets in. Inhabit this cage and no one gets out. Dark, twisted and evil. Yet choice keeps him in. Sitting in this box, feeling the warmth of the world. Watching the outside, yearning to be a part of it…
