Feathers a Thing With Hope

Hope is a thing with feathers, but are feathers a thing with hope? Given all the chicken I eat the answer, I think, is nope.

I suppose I could write a similar verse about a potato, but they don't usually have feathers, and shouldn't be eaten if they do...thanks for reading!
