Notes About The Poem

" FAITH AND FEAR " MY PHOTO,©

Fear's Shadow

Fear
was following me, like my shadow,
the other day

no matter
how fast I walked and towards what
direction
still before me, fear I saw

as the hours
were passing fast , one after the other,
fear:
taller grew
more menacing
and
more terrifying

knowing
not what to do
my face, in desperation, towards
the sun I turned
praying
to see Lord's divine light

it was then that I realized
fear's shadow had gone-
nowhere before me- was it to be
found!

We follow God's path in all we do and at the edge of darkness we'll always see a beam of light that renews our spirit and the darkness and fear are cast r aside. Tom

- Many feel the fear ... the shadows we see every day ... death takes too many lives ... nurses have to make terrible choices ... death roulette ... we must focus on what makes life meaning - We forget so easily that God will help us through life - A lovely poem for this day, my friend :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
