Fear Not, the Lord Is Near -Psalm 118: 6
The Lord our God is full of love
sending down all His mercy down here
no matter our failures we have hope
for God is for us so no need to fear
Have faith in this God of grace
His proven history is no doubt
many lives changed by God's love
God's word tells what it's all about
Believe on the Lord so very much
for the Lord is truly on your side
be on your knees in fervent prayer
trusting God with whom you can confide
This verse spoken by David the King
who knew this shepherd as his own
confidently declaring I will not fear
for this God is your sure cornerstone
(The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
