Still chuckling cause I remember and old comedy LP entitled "The Crepitating Contest" In those days it was a quite naughty! LOL Here's the definition of "to crepitate"... ORIGIN early 17th cent. (in the sense ‘break wind’ ): from Latin crepitat- ‘crackled, rustled,’ from the verb crepitare, from crepare ‘to rattle.’ Now you know the rest of the story!
