Farewell Tableau

Funeral today
Teardrops flow freely
I gaze at the sky
Sun sets on your life
Glorious gold glow
Soothes my breaking heart

I lost mine when I was ten from cancer! Gary Bateman Date: 10/16/2014 5:26:00 PM Jan, I just wanted you to know also that I do deeply empathize with what you and your family are going though. My father, bless his eternal soul, died of lung cancer on December 18, 1975 a few months after I graduated from the college in Wichita, Kansas where I originally come from. He was only "52" years old. I just turned "63" on October 14th. A day doesn't go by that I don't pause and think of him. It's a sad thing, of course, but life goes on.
