Gone are attempts at being steady, I've exhausted my efforts to please. Strength has run on low then empty, My heart requests a permanent leave. I've sheltered all your infidelities, Smiled harder to avoid inner pain, Concealed your dubious insecurities, Shocked to reveal I'm not insane.
