Perhaps we are falling stars lost within a dream
Landing softly on the ripples of a moonlit stream
Carried away to abandoned shores where the forest meets the sea
As every wish we ever knew grew like leaves upon a tree
Maybe we are fate waiting to be seen
Where every wish we ever wished fell like stars within our dreams
So I close my eyes and count the leaves that whisper in the breeze
To catch the tail of falling stars to meet my destiny
