Falling Leaves

We met in a land where the leaves
Turn as gold as desert sand.
We met by chance,
Now we are lost in our romance.
His kiss fills me with bliss.
This imaginary oasis is no illusion.
Our love, no mirage in a desert.
We met fatedly, near trees,
The sun shining through.
We met and felt meant to be.
Soon we must continue our own journeys.
My compassion and love for him
Makes me feel like this.
Our love, though warm,
May someday blow away like falling leaves.
