Falling Foliage
It is Autumn and foliage is falling
Crisp, brittle and dry that make a crunch-crunch sound
Floating down in clusters, to trees they're calling
Not to let them go, but they have touched the ground
Orange, brown and yellow hues spread everywhere
Endless sweeping wind swishes those leaves around
A scrunchy scent permeates the Harvest air
Crushed under feet, powdery residue found
Bare brown branches stick out sore midst the landscape
Trees wish to change their fashion trends this season
They have to wait some time before they can drape
In pristine white, and 'no leaves' is the reason
