This one was written for a special friend who has a thing about stars:)

If a star fell down to earth What would a fallen star be worth? For some look silver in the sky While some look gold to the naked eye. Surely it would break or bust. Could there be value in it's dust? I doubt that it would be for sale A broken star that's lost it's tail I guess it might be worth a look Or a poem inside a children's book. Then some might say a million-ish But to me... it's only worth one wish. Daniel Turner

I do believe, ' a broken star that's lost it's tail ' is still worth a million and one wishes. There's something magical about the stars, the way the moon shares its glow with everyone down below. I love everything about the night sky. :) I'm sure your friend will love what you've written. My best to you, Daniel. :) Hugs, Brandy

Check soup mail The poem - ah man, I teared up. You are a writer of poems that often amaze me, not just in style and content, but because you can write soft, tender and emotional poems that are opposite of the anti-optimism you sometimes express. This is a gem. I'm sure the government would secretly see the scar disappear for dissection and study! I hope your special friend feels how special the poem is. Have I over stayed? Wanna party? To see a shooting star, then it's visit to our earth, a treasure it would be. Lovely poem my friend. The 2-inch snow only lasted for 3 days. I felt sorry for my Peanut because he is little and short little legs. Besides when it started melting the street and sidewalk turn to ice so I was afraid to fall while I walked him.

Thank you, Eve. Buddy is a 13 inch beagle so you can only imagine him in an 11 inch snow. LOL Im glad you stayed in. A fall on ice can be very painful.

It was meant as a compliment, nothing else, though some are always looking for another twist. I tell everyone I'm just a simple storyteller. You're welcome
