Fall In Lust With Me

Please fall in lust with me, remember years
when all you sought was time to ravish me
In secret tryst we’d meet despite our fears
For passion would not wait or let us be

Oh fall in lust with me, think of the days
When wonder filled your eyes at curve of hips
A time when whispered words spoke of the ways
That we’d make love as kisses burned our lips

Please fall in lust with me, oh let me burn
From touch of hands deranged in passion’s fire
Oh let me pant your name, oh let me yearn
For time when slave you were to your desire

Now, fall in lust with me, and only me
Forget the other one whom you adore
You pledged that love would ever constant be
a passion that would blaze forevermore

So fall in lust with me, and let me be
The mistress once again who rules supreme
For love devoid of lust is killing me
Bring back to bed the lust of youthful dream

Jade Celeste

This poem is the cry of many people in long standing relationships. That first fire and passion needs stoking to be keep blazing brightly. When the fire isn't tended to, there is danger in looking elsewhere to find what is lacking.

You are wise beyond your years. Yes we may have love in our relationships but we do not always have lust. We do need to tend the fires to keep our relationships alive. Well done. Much love Edith

As men we need to make our wives feel beautiful and desired. From experience I can tell you that is the best way to maintain those lustful pleasures. I find my wife more sexy today than when we first encountered each other. We have discovered each others secrets and yet there is more to discover.

Well, Richard. That first sentence is the key to this whole piece. IF....men make their wives feel beautiful and desired. You are blessed with a wonderful marriage. It is evident from your heart and from your writes. You are a man of integrity. I believe it is because of your deep spiritual connection. "A chord of three strands is not easily broken"...Wife...Husband....God. If God is not in the picture. If there is professed but not real faith, then...problems occur. Thank you for your lovely visit. I'm about to post a new poem. I'm happy you're happy. Hugs

the appeal to forget the other one when we urgently want to cater for our lust, to me, is an antisolution to the problem; and i don't take the fact of looking elsewhere as a serious danger, for it's the only way of forgetting and setting the eyes free! to heal your libeskummer you've to fall in lust again- simply an opinion!

Your message is spot on . . . there is a Toby Keith song with the line: "I ain't as good as I once was, But I'm as good once as I ever was." Your poem brought a big smile to my face because there was a time I was instance heat but now it's a slow burn. Tending fires is an art and must be with care and love . . . your words LO have definitely stoked my fire! 7

Oh yes the queen of passion is roaring and soaring ..then diving in passion it flames. An inspiring poem which has lots of truth to it.. Lust and passion we all need it as much as we need love...

Roaring and soaring...how sweet, Charmaine. :) I love having you visit me. You always lift my spirit. Lust usually has negative connotations, I know...but I wanted to play with the concept of LOVE as a principle and LUST as passion on fire. I wrote with that frame in mind. However....I read somewhere that love was about giving lust was about getting. There is truth in that. We need love that is dipped in passion. :) Hugs

That is true, it does take encouragement to keep a fire going, I've been married almost 10 years and if you grow with your other completely the passion is hotter than the lust of first blush is. Gotta keep the fire burning and it gets hot hot hot. :) Enjoyed this!

Sometimes a woman has to help in the remembering process I was writing about by taking things into her own hands. Just pounced on Hubby when he came back from work! ;) Hmmmmmmmm ;)
