Fall Bouquets

When Autumn marks its equinox And Fall steps in to take its spot With harvest hues in rich arrays Bursting out in bold displays Of red and yellow, gold bouquets And tawny fields of amber waves To warm the hill, the home, the hearth To warm the love of loving hearts – Then you shall know the day’s delight From dawn to dusk – October’s light Like flowers blooming to bouquets Will cast its golden glow your way To bless the day that has begun To bless your day and days to come –

This is such a wonderful, creative Autumn poem John and I love the title. So many wonderfully poetic couplets. The imagery is exquisite.’ Of red and yellow, gold bouquets’, ‘And tawny fields of amber waves’.Glorious! The ending couplet concludes the poem so well. Really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing. :)
