Wow! What a great metaphor, steeped with striking imagery. I love alliteration (especially in Haiku).... perhaps you might enjoy my second "Destiny - C" Haiku, which I submitted this morning?

Ah, a real lovely haiku Pandita. A kindred spirit, as I too wrote about leaves dancing to death in a haiku I posted in August 2010 called 'Indian Summer'. I love the image of golden butterflies whirling in the wind. Autumn is my favorite season and a subject I often write about. A wonderful haiku!
