Some people blame God for it all. Especially, atheists. Or others who want God as a Santa Claus. I just know what is. Man has free will to do evil. And now man thinks he can control the universe and nature when they cannot stop overeating, or running cities? Man will out do nature. That's the hoax of the century. Panagiota.. Good poem

Your comment nails it, Panagiota: Man 'will outdo Nature' in terms of Evil... Call it the 'triumph' of the 'rational mind,' which, over the last century, has come to view human life as eminently dispensable. Thank you for your insights and your encouragement. Greatly appreciated. Best wishes, Gershon

"Gentle Nature's hand crueler Than the most dastardly ruler" - I think the scariest thing about Hitler is that people blindly and fervently followed him. but you are right, nature can also be cruel. It somehow seems more cruel when it is people killing people just because they do not care to know or understand them and do not think or worry about the spiritual repercussions of their horrific actions.

Thanks for taking up the discussion of these eternal questions: Why? and How? can a Supreme Being allow this to happen, and in the case of Nature, even orchestrate it?!… No easy answers... Best wishes, Gershon
