Faithful Love
Such faithful love,
that old dog gave
to me of a tender
heart he had.
So faithful was he
love that he would
always wait as I
went into the movie
house for double feature.
As I came home from
schol each day was
his hi-lite of day
that made him give me
his faithful love with
so many wet kisses.
He was a faithful friend
for nine long years, until
the very end, childhood
memories of him,
will always stay.
