Faith

Lord, you help me see more every time I write
To get over the fears, in the silence at night
I trust in you, you are my only guide
I won’t look away, I will always try

Lord, you speak to me and remove the doubts
That rage in my mind, until you help me write them out
Then I feel the power, with each new verse
You remove the pain and remove the curse

Thank you, Lord, I am filled with gratitude
I know I can win, even when I may lose
There’s always an alternative, always a way
I’ll turn things around, a new road will be paved

Goodnight, my Lord, thank you again
I’m smiling, and my heart has greater hope within
Tomorrow whatever challenges come to my door
I know you’ll be ahead of me, and be will forevermore
