Fado, She Said

Fado, she said I sat in my study had tried to write a poem, failed, switched the TV, and a, “show ” female singers sang in English, trying to sound like some American singer, they had learned the text had learned the words but didn't understand the lyrics. I joined my wife in the living room, a Fado concert was beginning, the singers sat on the stage the contact with the audience was warm and friendly the singers were accompanied by Portuguese guitar, which is an art to play. The Fado singers sang about what they knew, about love, sadness, and humor; the age of singers was young, middle-aged, and very old, and sang from life's experience The applause was polite, no vulgar whistling and shrieking: nearly three hours had gone unnoticed, we had been surrounded by art, and beautiful was the night.
