Facade

What's behind your well groomed facial hair
Pretend not to have a single care
Whiskers that hide scars
Moustache handlebars
Detours to avoid the barber's chair

I retired so do not have to shave everyday... sometimes sometimes I wear a beard for months, but it's not because of a barber ... it's really lazy! what a charming limerick dear Line, Salute alkas

such a witty write...my son started growing his beard longer and longer and i think it's his ploy to avoid the barber's chair as often as he can... :) enjoyed this poem ....hugs

Very interesting how each point you mentioned could be a reason or the reason---or perhaps the first two are decoys for the avoidance of the barber's chair! :) gw (soup mail, please)
