Eyes Open Wide

Look
is a 
word with two
letters in the 
shape of eyes open
wide.  Observing all that
is common and real.  Seeing 
the beauty in simplicity.  
Freely examining the present.
Considering the view, it quickly fades.

A really nice poem although I haven't met an etheree before. Is it a style of English poetry? I believe that a truly good poet has the power to see beauty in simplicity and to paint this in words that enhance it. I'm with you on this.

Thanks for the kind words Josie. I just started writing this form and have learned that is it a style developed in the 70's by an American poet. Thanks for stopping by =)
