Eyes of the Soul
Us as humans, the animals we are
Ruthless soul of revenge darkness
A savage being of nationality breathing flesh
Our hearts pump as different as the blood flow
Though we bleed red still a war in itself
Between love and hate we feel them both
It's like choosing right from wrong, fork in road
A walk among the faces of society clowns
Faces of delusional thought of the mind
Love you one minute just to kill another
Eyes of the Soul, a endless misunderstood being
The spirit to kill the same as it loves
Is it not of the heart we feel love's enduring
Every breath taken in with purpose of being
A changed soul portrayed by life's circumstances
One not whole in itself lost in dark world
Broken prospect of promise dreams of reality
Shatter eyes of the soul leading our expectation
We are who we are but even change is good
We are only what we choose to let us be
To have live in life we strive just to be
It's digging deep in search we only find peace
Letting go of yesterday's can we only move forward
Changing what is being we fight our demons
Eyes of the Soul, in darkness life existence be
not of life itself
