Eyes of An Eagle

Eyes of an Eagle If I had the eyes of an eagle, And the strength of wings to fly, I'd put a camera on my proud chest, And off to DC, I would fly. My fuel is my rage against all out to destroy this great nation, With breaking news, hideous lies and false allegations... America!! Berated daily in international publications! Against all God believing men and women, Using that meaningless term, "Conversation", as some universal justification. It's a word to validate all things unethical. Like infanticide, simply twisted, to mean.... "Oh, it's just medical." A murdered child's warm blood splashing~ on the icy cold, gleaming marble floor. Her tiny fists clenched in rage as Mommy walks out the butcher's door! I cry, "no more, no more!" Panagiota Romios 2/28//2019

powerful verse... they have gone crazy with the abortion rights...some states now allow almost up until delivery... sad

Sandra..now they lay the baby down, it's perfectly fine..and if mother does not want the newborn, they kill the child. I call it Auschwitz 101. Murder is a better word. Some states are going to outlaw abortion. But morally, our society has lost its compass. We can Regain it. Wake others up! There are Pro Life Clinics, too. Couples want to adopt. The news is godless. Very emotional poem, Panagiota! Shows how strongly you feel about the topic. Many things in life are wrong! But they cannot be easily rectified!

You are right about my emotionalism and deep feelings. Few of the world are leaders. Even fewer are willing to take a stand and work on a problem. They throw their hands in the air! That's how countries lose their freedoms. But there are many who do work on problems. Like Tunnels to Towers. Check it out. Panagiota xx

Totally agree with you. Next thing already in progress and going at full speed with nary a soul to stop evil. Through poetry we can make the world work for everyone. And with a belief in God? We cannot lose. Poets can be gardeners of hope, joy and love. Love, Panagiota

Caren~ I am sure the move is on to dispose of the elderly, too. Murder of children is beyond me. I saw a cartoon that was a slam on abortion. Due date is now called "Decision Date" We won't execute people like Manson, we are kind to killers. A baby? Death sentence for the innocent...OMG Love, Panagiota

This is quite a powerful and moving write. Some days I wake up and wonder where America has gone. I nearly don't recognize it anymore; so much hatred and abuse of others is not what the America where I was born is about. Someone had to say this and you've said it well.

Yes, I don't understand the brutality at all in the USA. The US Republic is not leaving. Much as others think we are an evil people via MSM and social media. Sorry Americans are kind and good. It's not easy to write about. Panagiota thank you..))

Brave. Nice to hear some sane words...so few written, sung and painted these days. Artists are suppose to be free thinkers, but that's a harder sell. We fail in the classrooms. We have cameras on police, but it is time to get them in every classroom (with modern technology very affordable and easy to do), so people can see where their children are, live-time, and the garbage they are being taught. Cameras in Classrooms!!

How much I appreciate your visit, comments, time and ideas. Cameras in classrooms? Teachers Union would never allow it. Various groups are pressuring schools to push their points of view that are anathema to the Republic. In the arts? No space to be you. Demetrios, How can I ever thank you for this compliment. You stated it concisely and exaactly. I know this is not a popular stance. But future children of the world are being slaughtered in the name of convenience. You and I and every poet were once defenseless beings. We protect stray animals in the USA far more than those about to become one of us. Love from Panagiota.God help us!
