Listen to poem:

Eyes Down, I Clash Averted

Eyes down, I do the test.
Eyes down, it's you I detest.
Avert your vicious stare,
    your blazing eyes, frying me.
I won't look up, until you look away.
I can see what your eyes are doing
    peripherally,
in the corner of my eyes,
while I blaze away at your belly button.
I feign deep thought
by looking down to the left.
I feign deep feelings
by looking down to the right.
Once your eye-stare stalking
    fails to get attention.
I will lift my sights
and up my eyes, to eye to eye level.
Then it's my turn
    to searchlight stare
at your eyes, blazing not blinking.
Daring you to look back, to up your eyes to mine.
The Ante is Upped
You Bastard!

Hello John. Your words were expressive and had strength. You expressed yourself with clarity. You have my smiling with your ending line and word. You bet... Well done and thank you for the smile ending.
