Expressions

Expressing oneself, is a wonderful thing
With beautiful minds, we dance or we sing
Creative ideas come from your heart
Put there by God for you to impart

The experience of life is truly unique
A stroll in the park, with eyes do we seek
Laughing or weeping our emotions unfold
Expressing our love or sadness, is gold

Inspirational things, stir in your soul
Writing it down, so it can be told
It flows from our pen, written in ink
Good, bad or ugly, these three we think

Personal visions for one to enjoy
Gladness and pain, it’s a girl or a boy
Guiding a child through this great world
Bringing much joy, by parents they’re held

Bright spark! A new thought occurs
Did that come from God? Or did I observe?
Sending you shockwaves, brilliant ideas!
Keeping you active, I must be sincere!

Expression can be, anything you like
A wonderful smile, a burst of delight
A touch of a hand, eyes glaring bright
Caressing her lips, under moon light

Expressing your views, explosion of anger!!
These little things could cause us danger
Sometimes expressing ourselves too deeply
Regretting the words, that we used so cheaply

Imagination, is the creation of thought
Blissful memories, wrote down and besought
Remembering dreams, whilst freshly vivid
Catching the images, because there exquisite

Expressed through art, and theatrical plays
Roles played out, upon life's stage
The universe responding to our thoughts
And magical stories, to us are brought

We express ourselves in so many ways
With cars, homes, and Jewellery portray
Signs and language, fighting or fuss
Our families, pets, we love and we trust

We wish and craft, the stars above
Angels express and bring, God’s love
From the Great Master that spoke these words
Be wise as a serpent and swift as a dove
