Expressing oneself, is a wonderful thing With beautiful minds, we dance or we sing Creative ideas come from your heart Put there by God for you to impart The experience of life is truly unique A stroll in the park, with eyes do we seek Laughing or weeping our emotions unfold Expressing our love or sadness, is gold Inspirational things, stir in your soul Writing it down, so it can be told It flows from our pen, written in ink Good, bad or ugly, these three we think Personal visions for one to enjoy Gladness and pain, it’s a girl or a boy Guiding a child through this great world Bringing much joy, by parents they’re held Bright spark! A new thought occurs Did that come from God? Or did I observe? Sending you shockwaves, brilliant ideas! Keeping you active, I must be sincere! Expression can be, anything you like A wonderful smile, a burst of delight A touch of a hand, eyes glaring bright Caressing her lips, under moon light Expressing your views, explosion of anger!! These little things could cause us danger Sometimes expressing ourselves too deeply Regretting the words, that we used so cheaply Imagination, is the creation of thought Blissful memories, wrote down and besought Remembering dreams, whilst freshly vivid Catching the images, because there exquisite Expressed through art, and theatrical plays Roles played out, upon life's stage The universe responding to our thoughts And magical stories, to us are brought We express ourselves in so many ways With cars, homes, and Jewellery portray Signs and language, fighting or fuss Our families, pets, we love and we trust We wish and craft, the stars above Angels express and bring, God’s love From the Great Master that spoke these words Be wise as a serpent and swift as a dove © Copyright 21st August 2013 K.C.Leake Kevinleake47@hotmail.co.uk
