Express Myself

I have so much to say
bottled up inside
buried smothered
I need to share
or I’ll explode
if I don’t
my life
will have been
for naught

put myself out there
while there’s still time
to connect
attract hearts akin
and likeminded souls

the world needs
the playfulness of poetry
where you and me
can write and read
between the lines
and fill the blanks
to turn our interaction
into a tagteam act
