prayer is an incense
of a quiet spirit

     this strength of fellowship
in a tent of meeting
personal
private
       a place 
       of communion
with Him

truth in every symbol
in the presence
               of the Holy one
                      among sinners
a simmering light
a seven branched stand

we change He does not
     word for word
      duty for duty
        this undeflected God
our substitute
&propritiation

a presence
        at the centre of our lives
devoted
      to detail
             persistent
ever watchful
ever caring

     marks His presence
bringing near
        on
           eagles
              wings
