Excess Baggage

The harsh colors
of yesterday's anger
and the events
that triggered it
have softened
with the night.
As far as the
excess baggage
is concerned,
I refuse to carry it
into tomorrow;
it only weighs me down.

If it is considered excess baggage, then leave it behind. Good write.

Thanks Gershon, I know people who have carried slights and grudges for better than 20 years now. What a waste. Be well. John
