Everything Is Two-sided

One minute there's laughter- the coming, there are tears hearts full of love can easily be twisted in confusion a glance or a passing word to another- could be easily ignored or can stab quickly through the soul it only takes one moment to bear a decision- that could either heal or shatter what's at hand so, opine twice before diving into the sand- each action that is made is for a reason, defining a path to pleasure or leading to pain.

True words you have said, Dear Sotto. Everything happens in a snap. Big deals, opportunities, promotions, even death. All in a blink and it constantly reminds us how time flies and how important it is. Same with every decision we make including the ones that emanate from anger, rush or pain. Your writing brings so much realness and comfort. Even our father is like a two-edged sword. Whatever sharpens can cut too and it cut can bleed.

Life is dynamic, it changes from sad to happy, storms to sunshine, some changes bring relief and, others vice versa, so serious thinking necessary as one path could lead to pain, and the other could lead to absolute pleasure. The power of words is compelling but the mind has conjured up visions, perhaps in the recesses of ones mind manipulating the mind, conjuring up a mistrust, an unwanted glance causing pain or, a word said in passing. which can pierce both the heart and soul. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

So very true, dear Lasaad.... Nuggets of wisdom! Before we utter words or jump into action, we have to pause and think how it will affect others. Man's emotions keep changing and in no time, happiness can give way to sorrow and laughter into tears. Therefore be thoughtful as our actions can either lead to pleasure or pave way to pain. Unlike your other poems, this poem is very straight and the message, so clear!

So true my dear Sotto. Wisdom talks out from wonderful minds as you. We should take twice to think once before we open our mouth judging. I loved it. So much to learn of. Keep on with your style. Unique. Hugs

Hi Sotto.. Your poem serves as a thoughtful reminder of the power of our actions and words. It captures the complexity and unpredictability of human emotions, urging readers to reflect before acting. The poem's simplicity and directness make it accessible and relatable, effectively conveying its cautionary message

It's best to pause and study areas of opposing forces before handing out judgment...this theme reflects the wonder of your verse...good one, sotto!

SP, I like where you go with this. We do need to consider what we do as it only takes a moment to change something from enjoyable to hurt. I often think that everything also contains an element of both. A situation changing is great, but it may also mean leaving something behind. I like to say every silver lining has a cloud. I know your main point is to something different, but you're making me think a bit.
