Everyday Begins With You

There is no life, or light,
only darkness of the night.
Then you rise slowly,
eyes shining brightly,
like the noonday sun.

Your smile penetrates,
the fog in my soul.
Your warmth permeates,
your glow takes control,
animating everyone.

My day starts now, begins anew,
Because, everyday begins with you.
