Everybody's Covid

Some may cough while others sneeze;
Some are brought right to their knees.
Some run fever, others chills;
Some ingest the latest pills.

Some can’t sleep at all at night;
Others have no appetite.
Some test positive for days;
Others just don’t think it pays.

Some go out but wear a mask
While others take those folks to task.
Some have booster shots, and yet
Sick is what they sometimes get.

In our bodies Covid sneaks,
Lasting days or even weeks.
We can hope we’ll be immune,
Unlike me, this afternoon.

You’ve covered all the aspects well. And skillfully as you always tell. And just as we think we’re in the clear. We’re inundated with our worst fear. The symptoms truly run the gamut. For some they’re mild, some just say damn it. Personally, the couch did own me. COVID sucks when compounded with C.

Oy! Really sorry to hear it. Every time I think Covid is done for, it rears its ugly head. Here's to a quick recover, Ilene!

Gosh, Ilene...I certainly hope it's not the big "C". Get/Feel better soon, okay?

So sorry that you are ill. It doesn't appear that it's ever cured. It's quite remarkable that you wrote this entertaining poem while sick. This poem is skillfully penned.

Biden has covid again, I feel so bad for him. I dread Covid, never had it (that I'm aware of) I do the jab! Keep well, Ilene

Oh my! Do you have covid, sweet friend? Feel better. We need to sweep that pesky, creep out the door. It’s not allowed back in! ((hugs))
