Today, a miracle heartened my soul Flowing through my veins in crimson Purple wisdom strengthening, caressing Bringing pieces of hope and contentment Echoing joy, brilliant rays of sweet serenity Poetry praising the creator of the universe With sensitivity and delicious, rich vision Destiny whispering through my tender heart Welcoming the grace of One who knows me With a gentle embrace, soothing and healing His love approves of my softly running tears Grasping spirits with sensitivity from prayers That are risking it all to give back a small piece Of the warmth and meaning that inspires Good feelings of promise that it will be alright God’s Son ~ Wonderful, counselor, Creator Of the stars, the moon, the sun and flower Beckons to me from the heavenly home where I know He awaits His finest hour, the moment When every knee shall bow to worship Him In spirit and in truth, I feel the joy that echoes Through my bones, scraping away nastiness Cleaning the depths of my soul, making me white As the fresh fallen snow, amazingly spotless, new Incapable of sin or wickedness, filled with honesty With God’s Son, there is the sweetest inspiration A sense of pure revelation for all that is good Stirring beauty and repose that brings light From the darkest storm and encourages the heart To reach for the moon and touch the stars With Jesus, there is hope, faith, and pure sweet love Completion of the story that has kept words dancing From the pages, singing out a tune of warm yearning For creativity and insight, breaths of spiritual wisdom Found inside the relationship born of grace, salvation Praise Him! He is everything to me! STRAND COMPLETELY NEW (15) ,any form, any theme Poetry Contest Sponsor: Brian Strand July 29, 2020
