Every Day Since We Met

Every day ever since we had met,
I hear our passenger train's horn.
Since then, I know I've no reason to fret,
For I know you'll never leave me forlorn.

Every day I fondly smile, look up and recall
The way you and I made love our first night,
The way you and I had dived into the fall
Of our familiar love, reborn in the Light.

Every day I am thinking of you always.
Even when mind is quietest I feel your soul.
I love you so much I lost count of all ways.
So instead let me love you till you feel whole.

Every day I silently prayed for a love like this.
Now all I want is to be beside you every day.
But I know with how you fill me with bliss,
The truth is your soul is within mine anyway.
