Your name falls like rain on drought-cracked ground,
My pulse writes symphonies when you're around,
In crowded rooms, you're the only sound,
My compass needle, true north I've found.

Over morning coffee, steam between us curls,

When snow falls soft and ice cream calls your name,
You laugh and taste the cold without shame,
