Emile Pinet Poet Blank verse

Ever So Sweet

My sweet baby girl is
half-awake, half-asleep.
And her toffee yawns are
like stretchy caramel.

Her cotton candy cheeks
are like pink marshmallows.
And dark chocolate curls
adorn my baby's head.

She sports blueberry eyes
with soft licorice lips.
And her creamy face wears 
a million-dollar smile.

A confectionery
treat; she smells delicious.
And gives sugared kisses;
that taste ever so sweet.
