Evening Contemplation

Villanelle for Dr. Ram Mehta
A great challenge and inspiration!

Thoughts are dancing in the shadows
Thoughts are strolling with the fireflies
Lazy thoughts quicken my resting senses

Cure the ignorance and idleness
Before the great and strong dies
Thoughts are dancing in the shadows

Spry, joyous creations of tenderness
Increase the ideas and mental workings
Lazy thoughts quicken my resting senses

Smells, tastes, feelings and thoughts caress
Neurons of knowledge, visions and sighs
Thoughts are dancing in the shadows

Shadows of creativeness are pure bliss
Compute the phrases into poetic verse and lines
Thoughts are dancing in the shadows
Lazy thoughts quicken my resting senses.
