Dusky skies 


                                        tinged with orange 


                         purple 

                                                        and lilac hues


                      as sun slips behind 

                                 h     o     r     i    z    o   n 


                          Transfixed 
                                  by natures
                                        beauty
                                            my worries 
                                                      d   r    i    f     t                       away



As day turns to night 
I’m wrapped in a blanket 
of 
moonbeams  and starlight
