Even the Stars
When darkness overtakes
and tears melt into sadness
I think to myself
I’m not alone
even the stars are blue
And when I make mistakes
when purpose seems pointless
I say to myself
you’ve always known
even the stars fall
When they falter
or seem to lose their luster
and they appear as distant
as peace on earth
I cherish the light they’ve shone
and think, even the stars
