Notes About The Poem

my childhood home-my parents lived in this house from 1952 until their passing in 2004

EVAPORATION

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Crisp leaves cling to bark~ childhood scent of burning wood. My breath fogs the glass. Mother's voice hums through the walls. Time dissolves like sugar cubes.
