Evanescent Love

Eyes locked - limpid pools of longing, Touch of silky skin upon skin, One mixed breath to both belonging, A passion disguised so very thin. Frozen in the fathomless swirl of time, Perhaps a drop, or less, in the infinite scheme, A look that's fleeting, yet forevermore, Lost and longing souls unrequited cruel dream. Thundering train with banshee scream, Jars and jerks, comes to a grinding halt, Brings us back from our bubbled world, A brief interlude imbued with gestalt. ~18 April 2016~

Thank you for your appreciation, Andrea. Some moments and interludes are so fleeting but forever etched in one's mind! I wonder if they flash through one's mind in their last moments?
