Evaluation

Often I wonder
Why I chose the road to nowhere
Accompanied by decisions of tragedy
It’s my life…It’s unfair

Circling a murky path while carrying a heavy load
Zagging through mazes and winding roads
Embracing myself for the slippery slopes
Crashing to the bottom with all my hopes

Just a thought
What good is it to really try?
Knowing in the end I will die
The same destiny waits
If I stay a fool or come wise

How silly is my laughter
When the euphoria leads to somber
What is conversation but idle chatter?
Awakened by reality a walking slumber

Wisdom is my criticism
Judgment is my defeat
Knowledge tells me I am happier without you
Yet, I am miserable with me

Evaluating
Educating
Escaping life

The greater my wisdom
The greater my grief
To increase knowledge
Only to increase sorrow
Ecclesiastes 1:18
