They say that these are in the Everglades in Florida now and are killing off the alligators too fast and also they say that there is another kind of boa constrictor down there plus someone has turned Cobras down there..When sightings are reported they try to capture them..I have seen this on tv where animal control is called out to try to capture them and this is true factual tv...Sara

I get goose bumps even when I hear the word "snake". We have rattle snakes here in S. California. Coyotes too :(

Very accurate description of this predator, James. I'm not necessarily afraid of snakes, but this is one I wouldn't want to "tangle" with. Excellent haiku! Love, Carolyn

I found a snake, baby snake today the cats had killed it. it had an orange belly and charcoal top with strips.
