Ethereal
Fragile as the morning dew,
Sliding down a petal, gentle, subdued
By the soundlessness, the silent
Beauty of a caress, softly kissing away
The night’s distant presence
Waiflike, tempting the heart,
Stirring dreams, believing – bravely
Singing to the still, small silhouettes
Shadows in the song who echoes,
Freely promising the soul to believe
Delicate as the gentle truth,
Beckoning the wonders, so stunning
Charming away the darkest breath,
Calm, like a heartbeat who keeps
Listening for that endless feeling
Ghostly, rising from the mist,
Hastening to color the light’s wings,
Reassuring the moments,
Blessing each prayer, each plea
For the quiet of a heart, worshipful
Light as the moments, in rhythmic
Soundless as vibrant dreams,
Moments so alive they bring electrifying
Themes from the waters, gentling
Each moment with their singing wings
Unearthly, breathless follower
Of hope and faith, the peacefulness
Arising in the soul’s keepsakes,
Where quiet blending of love and grace
Pour over the feelings, crafting praise
Ethereal, the glorious flow from Him
Who silences all fear,
Prepares the soul to reach beyond
The present, into more than make believe,
Into the heaven where He lives,…
Forever – with us, His unending love,
Awakening the soul to see…
With Him, there is no reason to worry,
With Him, there is a hope that is eternal,
With Him, there is life that never wanes!
