Only God knows…
The thoughts of my heart,
The breathe that makes me whole,
The spirit that invites me to try
Only God knows…
The feelings of my soul,
The light that inspires me to hope,
The reasons that I believe…
In a love that saves me from sin,
A love that makes me who I am,
A love that is alive and keeps me safe,
A love that rises when I’m filled with grief,
A love that is more alive than I can explain
This love abides in the believing
That causes me to say – this is a love
That keeps me from rejecting the faith
That comes to me from the knowing
He is the way – He is the truth – He is the light
He is the maker of beautiful and the unending grace
That never fades away, never tires and never gives
The heart a reason to feel like there is no chance
For the joy that comes to those who know Him
Only God knows…
The miracles that He stirs awake,
Inviting me to feel such peace, such faith
Such ceaseless grace that I have never doubted
This love He offers is a love that is beyond special
It is love everlasting, love that is alive
Love that will always survive, throughout time
