Entwined Poetry - First Love

In love for the first time. Each time we meet I die. I have gone to heaven! Weak at the knees, oh my! I look, I touch, she's mine. We kiss, for me, leaven! I shy away red-faced. She smiles, holds out her hand. It's love, don't feel disgraced. We kissed, second heaven! Every night ours as planned, We lay entwined, love blind. Our hearts beat, we learnt bliss. That rapture blew my mind! We danced, the night so grand! A year passed still my miss. Secretly her ring bought. On my knees, I propose. A tear rolled, my tongue caught. My heart hers, my promise. My heart now hers, my rose. Our wedding day her day. Her birthday my day too! Together we will stay. Forever we truly chose.

Beautiful poem, Mike! Reminds when I first met my wife many years ago.
