She was waiting in the plaza a breath of fresh air graceful as could be I sat there in the distance couldn’t take my eyes off her imagining that she might be waiting for a guy like me She slowly sipped her coffee cup I watched her lips their gentle touch And in my head I juggled dozens of scenarios where I would sweep her off her feet As time went on I realized I’d missed my chance and let the angel pass me by posted on April 1, 2025
