“ Chewing life's biscuit” brilliant creative line really. Absolutely love this. I wonder what biscuit of life tastes like? Bittersweet? Salty? And the opening line is brilliant too. You do tell so much in few lines, which is clever as always. Pleasure reading

Riddle of my own confoundedness popped into my head but I didn't want to elaborate too much and build a big poem out of it so I went for something very short to keep that line uppermost, glad it worked and was an enigma, thanks so much for your thoughts and support Sara
